The Summer Evening Rain Drop Necklace, is inspired by moody summer evening rains. I used indigo tint glass to add a bluish tone to the fiery sparkle. The sparkle is subtle and simple and changes depending on the lighting and the colors behind the glass.
Chains: Cable Chain and Satellite Chain. The satellite chain has delicate ball accents. See Photos for reference.
This necklace is made with Antiqued Brass Plated wire and chain. Nickel Free!
These kiln formed art glass necklaces are created by layering glass and firing it up to 1500 degrees. At that temperature, the glass becomes one piece. After it is properly cooled, I grind a half round groove on the edge which allows me to safely wire wrap the glass.
This is a great size for everyday wear. Glass really comes to life in the sun too! They are little sun catchers!!
