These kiln formed art glass necklaces are created by layering strands of colored glass with a layer of clear sheet glass and firing it up to 1500 degrees. At that temperature, the glass elements become one piece. After it is properly cooled, I grind a half round groove on the edge which allows me to safely wire wrap the glass.
The size is great for everyday wear. Glass really comes to life in the sun too! They are little sun catchers!!
